Smoke-Free Classification

How GASP Classifies the Listings

Smoke-Free Property does not allow smoking anywhere on the property including all units, balconies, porches, patios, entrances, and the grounds. GASP includes any property that has implemented the 2018 HUD rule for public housing that prohibits the use of tobacco products inside all indoor and common areas, living units, electrical closets, storage units, administrative office buildings, and in all outdoor areas within 25 feet of the housing and administrative office buildings.

No-Smoking policy means that the property does not allow smoking anywhere inside any residential buildings including all units, balconies, porches, patios, and main entrances. The property may also prohibit smoking within a certain distance of their buildings and some outdoor areas.

Disclaimer: GASP of Colorado provides these listings as a public service. This website covers tobacco smoking and was created before electronic smoking devices were invented and marijuana use became legal.  Please check with property managers to see if the smoke-free policy includes vaping and marijuana. Please visit the property, contact the management for more information, read the lease carefully, talk to the current residents about the policy, and report any errors to GASP.
